A very good review and I like this gun as well but I have an issue with the mags. If not properly aligned when reloading, as in a slight twist, they jam and you have to remove and reinsert. Fiddly sometimes. Also if you reload with a bb still in the chamber and the feed slide is not forward on the mag, it will double feed, sometimes causing the top slide to not fully engage. This causes the gun to not fire.

Having said all this, being careful with your loading techniques and plenty of practice makes this gun a far more competitive and realistic choice than, for example, the ubiquitous rotary style CP88 guns.

      Hi Mick,
Found your comments useful as I am considering buying the UX race gun. But I have not seen a single review showing the group size, bench rested etc, possible with this pistol. I would be most grateful if you would share the info on your best results.
      Best regards, Mike Roberts

        Hi Mike,

Apologies for such a late response, not on here often.

For what it’s worth over a year later, not had a need to see grouping as I use this for IPAS and practical shooting at a local club. So as long as I can hit multiple iron plates in rapid succession with fast mag changes, I’m a happy chappy. Still not been able to satisfactorily fix the mag issue. Not a big problem till now so I am looking at possible changing to a Tanfoglio or P226 with the same style of mag, just need to find some reviews. Regards

I love the gun also but I have a problem with mine, some how my mag is jammed it will come our 3/4 of the way out. I have taken the grip off to see what going on but I cannot see why it won’t come out full. Any suggestions

Hello Alan, I would suggest taking it to your local retailer to assess the problem, it may need to come back to us for repair.
